Ok, so I'm trying to make a castle out of the wilton stand up house pan. I tried twice to get this house on the sheet cake (it was on a supporting piece of foamcore) and both times it just imploded. At this point, I'm just scrapping the castle in favor of a plastic princess crown.

Any ideas on how to fix this next time?

What type of cake were you using? Did it just fall apart?

I've found that you need two house cakes put together and they sort of hold each other up. Still have to dowel each if you are transporting. I had one fall over on me in my early years. I did get it to the party in good enough shape to prop it up with a pitcher only because I drove withone hand while leaning over and holding the cake wtih the other.
