How Do I Stick The Gold Little Shiny Balls Onto A Cake?

I am making a cake tht has the quilty squares and on each one I wanted to stick a gold little candy ball. What is the best way to do this? Thanks

I use tweezers as well, and RI as the glue. Although I quite often loose a few in the process as they sometimes ping out of the tweezers. lol
