I have been requested to make a graduation cake for the end of the year.

The cake will be for 50 grade 6 students who will be moving to high school.

However the school will also be changing there name for the following year, so the idea is to design a cake celebrating the graduation of the children whilst incorporating the change of name from Meadowbank Primary to The Meadows.

Any ideas????

What about doing a sloped hilly cake with the Meadowbank at the edge and The Meadows at the top or flat part. You could either do cake or gumpaste recreations of each school building.

I was thinking perhaps a book (open or closed) with a diploma laying on the corner. You could easily incorporate the name of the school, the year of the class, or even the names of the students.
