Good Morning!

I am making a cake for a friends daughter that will be covered in a crusting buttercream and have fondant spots and zebra stripes as well as fondant bows and accents. I have to finish it today because Im going on a zoo field trip with my DD tomm. She is picking it up tomm. pm.. What is the best way to store it when I finish it? Will the black fondant bleed on the white b/c? It is pre-tinted satin ice black fondant?

Your advice will be greatly appreciated!!!

Denise

I leave mine sitting on the counter for a couple of days before a wedding. Twice I've had icing problems and that was because I refrigerated the cakes. Ergo, I NEVER refrigerate cakes.

I don't put my cakes in the fridge either. The fondant decorations might go all sticky. icon_smile.gif
