Search for the White Almond Sour Cream Cake recipe in the recipe section. It is absolutely wonderful.....firm but tender to the taste.
I never use the almond (I'm allergic to tree nuts) so I use vanilla. It's my most requested cake.

Hi! If you're looking for a scratch white cake, try the one in the book Sky High. It's called Vanilla Bean Cake. Wonderful! icon_smile.gif

But if you prefer to work with mixes, I would say to use WASC that JodieF suggested. After frequently hearing about this recipe on this site the past few years, I finally gave it a try last week to see what all the hype is about. I was very pleasantly surprised! thumbs_up.gif
