Hi everyone..Everytime I apply my fondant to my cakes I can NEVER get it totally smooth. What am I doing wrong? I use my fondant smoother yet I still have bumps and lumps I can't get out.
If your buttercream underneath the fondant isn't smooth, the fondant won't be smooth.
Also if the buttercream is too thick (or even too thin) or if you have rolled your fondant too thin... it can be any of a number of issues.
