How do you adjust your oven to bake even? I got a new oven a few months ago and I've noticed that my cakes are not baking even! It's an OVEN, so it's not really like I can put it back in the sack & return it to the store. My husband checked to make sure it was level, which it is; so it has to be something else that is making it cook unevenly.
I've also noticed when I torte the cakes, that there are HUGE air holes in the cakes now...which were NOT there when I was using my old oven. I always bang out my cake pans before I put them in the oven to get rid of air bubbles.
I don't get it.
