Just made PB buttercream from Martha Stewart,. Talk about WONDERFUL!!! I can eat it with a spoon...........
I know it is sooooooooooo good. I made a jelly pie and put pb buttercream on top instead of whipped cream, oh man was it good.
Ironically I was going to look for such a recipe to put on a chocolate cake. Please share the recipe or the link.
TIA

I had a student last year who made her own PB buttercream simply by adding 1/4 Cup peanut butter to a Vanilla buttercream recipe. She let me taste it and it was to die for!!
i agree... just add PB to your regular BC..... sometimes i add alil more liquid ( i use sugarshacks... so i add more coffee creamer) and go alil light on the flavorings.. unless it compliments PB well
Here is the recipe:

Martha Stewart Peanut Butter Buttercream
Makes about 1 cup
2/3 cup natural, creamy peanut butter
8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
Fine salt (optional)
Directions
Cream peanut butter and butter in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment on high speed. On low speed, mix in sugar until combined, then beat mixture on high speed until fluffy and smooth, about 3 minutes. Add salt to taste, if desired. Use immediately.
