I have an order for a 60th birthday cake. They want "fall theme" and "throw in a football" too. I'm at a loss. Not too sure how to incorporate all of these themes into one cake. Anybody have any ideas?

I wouldn't worry so much about it being a 60th birthday cake unless they were specific that that should be a part of the cake. You could do football and fall pretty easy. There are a ton of football cakes on here. And adding fall colors and fall leaves would pull that part in too.

If it's a sheet....make a big '60' in the center, then pipe a border about that....an oval or rectangle.
The "0" can be a football.
The rest would be lots of leaves & acorns, maybe some corn &/or haystack(s).
