Hi everyone! I was wondering if anybody could tell me if it's okay to use the cake mix extender recipe to make a marble cake. Also if I make the cake from scratch instead of the box, can I still add the extender recipe?

Certainly you can use my *original* WASC recipe to make a marble cake
After it is all mixed properly,just remove about 1 - 1 & 1/2 C. To that add about 1/3 Cup UNsweedened cocoa; mix well. YOu might have to add a Tablespoon of hot water if it seems dry. Drop this choco batter into the white and lightly stir w/a fork in swirls.
I've never used my WASC from scratch. Can't help w/that.
