I am trying to find a saying for the cake top for a man who is retiring and will taking up snow skiing. I don't want to be mean "It's all downhill from here" as I don't know him well enough. Any suggestions???
I don't know how much this may help, but I found a web page with skiiing sayings: http://www.quotegarden.com/skiing.html. Some include:
**All things are possible, except for skiing through a revolving door.
**Turn right, turn left, repeat as necessary.
**Skiing is the only sport where you spend an arm and a leg to break an arm and a leg.
With the last one, maybe you could write something on the cake that has to do with spending his retirement to fuel the hobby. I can only think of a silly children's-type rhyme right now:
First comes work,
then comes pension,
then comes skiing on a snow-capped mountain.
