Spraying Luster Dust

Can anyone tell me what amounts to use of each, Luster dust and alcohol, to us in my airbrush? Is it equal parts or more alcohol that luster dust??? I need to know ASAP, I have a cake in 2 days that I want to spray! Thanks!

There really isn't an exact amount. You just need to be sure it's thin enough to not clog your airbrush. Honestly, if there is a cake supply within driving distance, you're better off getting luster pray made for airbrushing. Otherwise, make sure you dilute the dust VERY well (almost watery), and constantly re-agitate your mixture to keep the dust from settling in the alcohol before you spray it.

Does anyone know ( or has anyone tried) using airbrush color with luster dust? The kiddos are in bed and I don't have anything alcoholic in the house....any subsitutions?
