It's Not Cake, But I'm Still Proud!!!

On Sunday I competed in and finished my very first triathlon! I've been training for the past 9 weeks, and I completed a 1/2 mile swim, 15.2 mile bike and 3.1 mile run in 1 hour and 55 min.
Other than graduating from college, this is definitely the greatest accomplishment of my life!!!
I just wanted to share my joy! 
Great job. I've never done a triathlon, but back in April I did my first half-marathon, and I understand how you feel. Congratulations!

I have a marathon coming up in like three weeks - my goal is just to finish.
I know what you mean! My only goal was to finish, too. I figured if I could just drag myself across the finish line, sans heart attack, I would have accomplished my goal.
