Can I Show You My First Ever Cake Please?

My first ever cake, for my son's 4th birthday party. It turned out better than I had hoped, except for his hat. The peak of the cap broke so I had to make it again and it didn't have time to set properly so it looked a bit funny. I just turned the cake the other way so the worst part was towards the wall!

It is Roary the Racing Car - do you have him in the US? He is a children's tv character. I have added a pic of him from the tv as well.

my first ever cake looks like some child made it! YOURS IS AMAZING!

I don't think that we have that character in the US - did i mention that you did a great job?!?!?

If this is your very first cake then I can't wait to see what you do with a little practice! Holy moly he's fantastic! You should be incredibly proud of yourself!

My first cake was an unrecognizable, unedible, lump of sugary goo...

Your first cake is amazing!! You did a great job! And you definitely have some talent! Can't wait to see your 2nd cake!
