I've almost used a whole bottle of wilton brown icing gel. Should I mix in some black?

How much fondant are you making? As you color your fondant let it sit a little while and it will darken. I have colored fondant brown before and at first it seems like it will never turn but then I'll let it sit for an hour and when I come back to it it has darkened to the color i was looking for.

you are welcome. Truthfully I hate coloring fondant but Michaels is close so I buy the Wilton brand for playing with and use the MMF for decorating cakes with.
