I'm a fan of Peggy Porschen's work and I understand she did some chocolate Faberge Eggs for Elton John's White Tie and Tiara ball -- which were evidently photographed and put into magazines around the world (except all the internet searches in the universe have turned up nothing!) Can anyone help me locate a picture -- I'm dying to see her interpretation of them! Thanks all!!
I went to alta vista.com and entered "peggy porschen faberge eggs elton john", and I was led to an article that said the eggs were shown in OK! Magazine. I couldn't attach the article, but I hope this helps get you closer.
I think it appeared in the July 2003 issue of OK! Magazine.
Does this help?
I went to her site and looked under news and it took me right to it
I found this one...OMG....that's one big egg!!
And I copied the one that you were looking for...hope it posts here ok...
i looked for the images and cannot find them either. If you, or someone finds them, please let me know!
They are probably breathtaking.
ha ha ha!! I looked all over her website and never saw it! Thanks all -- that's a very cute interpretation of the lily of the valley egg I might add! Nice work Peggy!
Thanks Mom! I think she did a great job on them!
