Has anyone ever used powdered egg whites for IMBC or SMBC with equal results as fresh egg whites?
Funny you should ask . . . I just tried today. I just used the equivalent measurement on the powder box and made the amountt I always use for my IMBC. It left an aftertaste I didn't care for. I am sure, however, that there is a way to get rid of that taste and I will try again tommorrow. If I have good results I'll let you know.
Thanks for the info! I was just wondering. I'm always so nervous about not getting the eggs cooked enough so I get paranoid about that sort of thing. Good luck wiht your next batch and definitely let me know if you have better luck.
