I'm thinking about making purse cake like this ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/cakesbyashley/552439119/in/set-72157600364968847/) and I'm trying to figure out what the best way of filling it is, if there is one. Would it be best to put the filling vertically between the two half rounds or horizontally by slicing the two half circles normally? Does that make sense? TIA!

VERTICALLY!!!!

Just cut the cake in half.... put your dam around the edge, fill (not alot) then fold up the cake icon_smile.gif I would suggust only buttercream, but if you are brave you can try something else!

Horizontally would be such a pain.
