I'm making my husband a birthday cake & was wondering if the recipe for chocolate ganache is different if you're using it as a filling, or if its all the same? Thanks!
I have whipped the ganache to use as a filling or I have let it cool to a slightly thickened state and used as a filling. There are different ratios of chocolate to cream for the different icing uses. Do a google search about it, but the recipe is basically the same.
