Can you use cream cheese icing under fondant? Cream cheese icing tends to be much softer than buttercream, so I didn't know if that would cause a problem. I can just seem me finishing the cake and the icing oozes out the bottom icon_cry.gif

Thanks

I have put cream cheese icing under fondant before and haven't had anyproblems. I would make sure the iced cake has been in the fridge for a good while before covering so the icing is set up pretty stiff. Then after covering I would put it back in the fridge to stiffen up again. When you take it out you can smooth it a little more if you need to and it will make decorating it a lot easier too.
