I'm sure this is covered in multiple forums, but ... as usual ... I don't have time to read through them to find an answer to my questions. I am hoping to use candy clay in my pearl molds to use as a cake border. Has anyone had problems using it in the pearl molds and are there any helpful hints that you can give me? Can I use pearl dust on the candy clay like I do with fondant and gumpaste?

Thanks in advance.

I've made candy clay pearls but I didn't have a mold, just rolled them out by hand and yep, pearl dust worked great icon_biggrin.gif

dust your pearl maker with the pearl dust.. then put your candy clay in.... do as the directions says... if it sticks... then i would dust the pearl maker with mixture of 10x sugar and cornstarch... make the pearls... then dust them with the pearl dust.... hth
