I've never made or eaten black forest cake, but have a special friend who says it is his favorite...I plan to make him one as a surprise. I googled black forest and several variations popped up. What is the traditional recipe/frosting, etc? Thanks!

If you do a search on CC, using "black" as the subject in the "recipe requests" forum...about 29 threads come up for black forest cake recipes.

Hopefully one of them will be what you're looking for. icon_smile.gif
