Hi Folks
Can someone please tell me the best way to add a white RI design to black fondant. It will be a simple henna-like design on a fondant ribbon border. The catch is i'm not great at piping icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif - well actually i'm pretty shocking at piping icon_redface.gif
Would i be better to copy the pattern on to the fondant then pipe over? If so how do i get the pattern on to the fondant? Or is there a simpler way?
Or would i be better to attempt an embroidery style? Or am i just out of my league here? Either way I would need to copy a design - i couldn't do it freehand like some of the stars on here.
Any advice would be great
Thanks

I recommend using Sugarveil icing (ww.sugarveil.com). It remains flexible after it dries, so you can pick the whole thing up and place it on the cake or ribbon. You don't need the machine, just the icing mix and a piping tube with a small opening.
