I plan on making a patchwork baby quilt in fondant for a baby shower, but having no experience to speak of, with fondant I want to do it well in advance (at least two days) so I have time to redo if I have to.

On the day of the shower, it will be draped so I can't have it cracking.
I wondered if making it, then keeping it wrapped in plastic wrap would keep it supple enough? Help!
