Hi, ..

i have a few 1 oz. wilton color icing and i found that theres no expired date on it. Since i only the beginners and still study at univ, i make cake only when i have a free time or when someone in my family have a birthday (around five times in A YEAR)

if the color icing is already open, for how long it can be used?

please give me advise ....[/b]

From my experience icing colors last forever. The only thing to make sure to do is to use a clean utensil when getting the color out of the jar so that it won't get contaminated. If your paste gets dry add a little of glycerine to it and mix it to get it back to it's original consistency. Hope that helps.

Yeah, forever! I have the odd color here and there that I will swear are years old.
