How do I smooth the cake frosting? I have the lines on my cake that the spautla makes!

after your buttercream crusts, use a viva paper towel and lay it on your cake. then, use your hands to smooth out wrinkles.hth icon_smile.gif

Invest in sugarshacks DVD "Perfecting the art of buttercream" It will be the best money you have ever spent. www.sugaredproductions.com I have all of her DVDs and I wouldn't part with any of them.

Viva paper towels are not available in my area icon_sad.gif so I use a sheet of computer paper -- works great! icon_biggrin.gif Jennifer

I wouldn't know what to do if I lived in an area without Viva! I use Viva and computer paper. I also invested in Sugarshack's video and it's awesome. Very helpful.

No Viva, use computer paper or parchment paper or even wax paper!

I have also heard that some use a soft foam paint roller... I haven't tried that one yet. icon_wink.gif
