shaped like a fish. I've cut the cake out in the shape of a fish. It has a tail and fins. The fish is about 16in long and 12in wide. Is it possible to cover a character cake in mmf or should i use BC?

it's possible, although, depending on your skill level, it may be difficult to get in the "nooks and crannies" I'm more of a "newbie" with fondant and that seems to be the trouble I have with it. HTH

Thanks for the reply. I"m new to fondant to. This is a practice/b'day cake.
It's for my mom and she said to make whatever I wanted to try. So she will understand if it''s not perfect.
