Has anyone found a market for decorated cake dummies? If so, what do you charge and where do you sell them? Recently I made a large 4 tier fondant dummy cake for a wedding with two receptions a week apart. I made 2 real cake layers for the bottom, making it ultimately 5 tiers that allowed them to take a full wedding cake to each location easily but have real cake to cut at each reception. The cake is round, staked tiers in ivory w/ivory piping, very neutral. The wedding colors were chocolate brown & ivory so I used a satin ribbon around the base of each cake but the ribbon is detachable so any other ribbon could be used. I really hate to throw it away but I if it's something impossible to sell, I guess I'll have to. Advice?[/list]
