Can someone please explain?
I've been wondering exactly how the CC website works. When someone posts a new topic, does it always appear on the home page? I've asked questions, and have never seen them posted on homepage. But then when I look at my forum posts, there are responses. How often are the topics which are listed on the homepage changed?
I sure hope someone can shed some light on this.

It is random, don't worry about it.

Many people check the site by reviewing posts that are unanswered. Most questions get answered, but there are some that don't have easy answers.

Thanks, JoAnnB, for answering. I'm not worrying about it, just curious.
Can anyone else shed some light on this?

My other question involves the cake pictures. Are the most popular cakes chosen randomly, or are they in some sort of order?
And...are the pictures in the galleries shuffled around? I went to look for a cake that I knew I had seen on a certain page, and it wasn't on that page when I searched for it.
Again, just curious.
