I recently discovered WASC (delicious!), and was wondering if anyone would like to share their favorite fillings and frostings that they use with it.
Thanks.

My most recommended one is a homemade raspberry filling. You can find it in the recipe section here on cc. It's super-easy and absolutely to die for icon_smile.gif.

Thanks. Sounds delicious. I'll have to give it a try.
Anyone have any other suggestions?

Ooohhhhhh my! My wonderful cake recipe pairs well w/almost any fillingicon_smile.gif
apple cinnamon
butter pecan
chocolate mousse
lemon
lemon & raspberry
German Choco - coconut pecan

I had one customer who ordered about once a month and *always* ordered WASC w/bavarian creme. I thought that was so bland icon_smile.gif

Thanks for the suggestions. They all sound delicious, but I'm partial to chocolate......Any particular chocolate mousse recipe?

WASC is White Almond Sour Cream. I just made one for the first time and OMG it's to die for! It's a white cake mix that's "doctored". It makes it thick and dense and moist and oh so delicious. I filled mine with a Strawberry Cream Cheese filling recipe found on this site and then frosted it with buttercream. I also added slivered almonds to the middle jsut for good measure! It's the best cake I've ever had!
