I have an order for a "girlie" cake. She wants boobs and hip area with bikini. I thought I would use 2 heart pans, single layer, and mini wonder pans for boobs. Does that sound right, how many people will this size feed and any idea on an appropriate price? Thanks

I use a sheet cake pan and the mini wonder pan. I carve out the sheet cake for the waist and hip line and place the mini wonder cakes on top of it. As far as the servings, the size of the sheet cake will help you determine the servings. So, whatever the sheet cake servings would be less about 75% to account for the carving. That's the rule of thumb I use and so far it's worked. As far as the price, it really depends on your market. I would research what some other folks are getting in your area for the buttercream covered and fondant covered cakes and go from there. I charge $55.00 for a 1/2 sheet cake "boob" cake that's covered in Fondant and has simple decorations. I'm in North Carolina near Charlotte. Hope this helps!
