I have a cake due on Saturday night, so I'm baking it today. I'm making a chocolate cream cheese filling for it. I've never frozen a cake with cream cheese frosting before. Does it freeze ok, or should I just freeze the cakes and then stack and fill them on Saturday morning? TIA

Why do you need to fz? Baking on Wed for a Sat delivery does not need fzing. Will the cake be covered in fondant?
What you can do to see how the filling will hold up is to put a couple of tablespoons of it in a small cup & fz. After a few hrs take it out & see how it did.
