Last night I went to make frosting, and my Sweetex had turned a very light yellow color. It smelled fine and I did make the frosting and it tasted fine. What caused the yellow? I don't think it is spoiled because the frosting tasted great. I made a lot of frosting last night, please tell me it will be all right.

I had the same thing happen to me. I recieved it from my vendor and it was already that yellowish color. I asked my rep if it was O.K. He said he
had never heard of it. (So he says). He said no one else had complained. It smelled allright and tasted O.K. I think that happens when it gets to warm. It was in the hottest days of
summer when it happened. I did'nt get sick. So I guess that's a good thing to know.

Thank you so much. I was pretty sure it was okay. Your cakes are just beautiful.

Thank You BARBARAJEAN! There is so much more I could learn. Unfortunately here where I live there isn't any classes offered. So I have to figure it all out by trial and error.
