It wasn't too bad, really. I have a comment section on my website, and some tried to add pictures (I think) and it turned out as jibberish with a few kinky things and body descriptons written out. I tried to delete them line by line, but there are thousands, so I just pulled the comment section off the website. That kind of makes me mad since I like to hear what people have to say--legitimate people, not freaks. I'll try to get it all deleted and then put it back on eventually. It did have to make me laugh a bit, though. How pathetic are some people that they get their kicks doing this? Oh well, could have been worse!

Can you set it up so that all comments are screened by you before you post them?

Vomit. What is up with these loser ?
The other day I had googled my business, and there was something similar where someone had tagged my business name in a search for some pretty nasty things that I won't say here, so it shows up in google where it's my business name, then something gross, something else gross, something even grosser, etc. Yuck!

I wish I could. It's a free website that doesn't offer a whole lot of options. I just pulled the comments section all together. It was nice, but didn't add a whole lot of value to the website, anyway, so it's not too much of a big deal.

Funny thing, though....I texted my boss to let him know that "the porn is gone" and he had no clue what I was talking about! His wife called me and let me know it was on the website and I took it off. He was doing a first grade tour at the time, so obviously his wife wouldn't say in front of 25 first graders, "Hey, honey, someone put porn on our website!" He probably thought I turned into some kind kinky freak who decided she should kick her porn habit! Ha!

I have a feedback page that just dumps the feedback into my email..every once in awhile I get those.. There is a code I beleive you can put in forms to stop it, but since it just to my email, I didn't care..

OMG! LOL! I'm sorry but after reading all the comments, your last post made me laugh out loud!!

Geez, though - some people!!!

I have a web site. How would they even get into your/my site? That's scary!

They only got into the website because they accessed it through the comments section. You don't need a password for it. Anyone can leave a comment. For the most part they've all been very nice, but this was just wacky. Who would even think to do this? I mean, what's the thought process? "I know, I think I'll surf the web for some bakeries and try to add some porn to their menus." Really....get a job and a life!

HA! I know it is terrible, and you must feel a bit violated, but at least you have found a way to solve the problem. You will be able to put it back up soon, I am sure.................

I've been getting a lot of weird comments in my site... mostly gibberish and some that claim to enlarge certain body parts icon_wink.gif

I have it so I filter them before they go through, but it's amazing how many of these I get in one day... lately there have been no legitimate comments though... at least it keeps me busy LOL
