I always use her fondant, but I have never colored it black. Has anyone done this with sucess? I have a couple ideas, I just don't want to ruin the batch I have made if someone knows exactly what will work. I need to use it tom., so I need some quick responses. Thanks so much.

I used Americolor to color it black and it worked fine.

If you make it chocolate fondant then you will need less food color to make it black. For chocolate, I usually add about 1 cup of chocolate chips to the cooking process. It doesn't make a dark chocolate, but it sure tastes good.

Thanks so much. I love the taste of the fondant, and it is a dream to work with. Not to mention at the start of my little business, not expensive at all. Thanks so much for all of your help.

Michele do you add the chocolate in place of the white chocolate or with the white chocolate?
