Does anyone have any hints for doing this? I am making a stacked wedding cake and the bride would prefer not to have borders on each tier.... Thanks so much.

I haven't seen the dvd mentioned above, but it has great reviews on here. If you hvae time, give it a shot.
When I get a bride who wants a "simple" cake with no border, I always laugh and tell her, "Oh you want me to work harder on your cake, don't you?" When she gets a shocked look on her face, I then explain how the top/side seam is covered by a border, but if she wants no border, then I have to work EXTRA. HARD. AND LONGER. to get it JUST. PERFECT. I close with, "Oh, it's no big deal! Just part of your wedding cake education!"
But seriously, I want them to KNOW that what THEY call simple, is usually more work for me.
