has anyone tried this? How does it compare to the popular brands (Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, DH)?
Thanks

I tried the white cake mix and used the "just add water" directions and I didnt' like it. At all.

When I couldn't get the walmart brand choc cake mix (for my cookies) recently, I tried the GFS choc cake mix. Worked good for my cookies, but I noticed it also had "add egg and oil" directions on it in addition to the "just add water" directions. This might make a difference. I might give it another chance, when I have time to play around with it.

But the mix with the "just add water" ..... don't even waste your money.

I know this is an old topic, but in case someone else runs across it in the future I would just like to add that I use the GFS mix for my WASC and I love it. I have never tried it by box directions though.
