Well I was going to make sponge bob for my grandsons birthday next sunday but his mom wants Cars theme. I love Tow mater so that is what I am going to make. Does any one have directions on how they made theirs? I am going to put him on top of a sheet cake so I can have two flavors .

I just did a Cars cake for a party today. It's in my gallery. On the sides (you can't see them) I did racing flags in royal icing. The huge mountain is 2 6" rounds carved and covered with fondant. Fondant rocks around the mountain and a fondant road. All the rest is buttercreme.
I bought the cars for the top. My godson wanted a "Mater" cake. That is what I did for him.
It was a big hit.
