Ok so my family, and I are searching for a new oven (with a range on top), and we are totally lost on which one to purchase. They are so many options. What do you all use? What features should we be looking for? I bake cakes p/t, otherwise it would be used for conventional use. Any suggestions, we are lost!? icon_cry.gif

If I were to redo my kitchen with a gas oven, I would go for a professional stove/oven combo. They fit full sheet pans and huge turkeys.

My house is currently fitted with an electric stove, the type I've cooked on most of my life. If I were to stay with electric, I know exactly what I would get -

The Electrolux stovetop with the induction burners on it - boils water in 90 seconds.

The Electrolux wall ovens with the roll-out racks - Self-cleaning.

Yeah, if I'm going to dream, I'm going to dream big.

In the meantime, I was happy to see a 4-year-old stove with digital controls and self-cleaning oven in my new home.
