First let me start by saying that I am SO HAPPY for this lady, but I also wish it were me. There was a cupcake vendor at a bridal show I participated in this summer. We were both just starting out. I just checked out her site and her retail location is opening in Oct!! I'm still searching for financing (which is another headache in and of itself)

Hang in there! Your work is beautiful and your time is coming. Cupcakes seem to be the "it" thing right now so the demand is out there. I'm glad that you're happy for her (I would be jealous as well), but maybe you can put a buzz in her ear that if she needs any help (if you'd like to) she can call on you. There's always possibilities out there.
