Hello,

I'm needing to make a Onsie Cake for a Baby Shower.I'm not that sure of how to do it. I was just going to use a Full Sheet Cake and then cut it to look like a Onsie.Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Stacy

I would do as you said and make a template from stiff card to cut around.

I haven't made one,but I'm pretty sure you're right that it is carved from a sheet cake. I think there is a template in here, check the gallery....

If you're going to carve it use a firm cake recipe or add an extender to the mix. Its a simple shape so you should do well.

To make cutting easier, refrigerate it first.
