I just have to share this. Every gathering, bbq, party, whatever, everyone watches me open my container to see what decorated cookies I've brought, I always tie it to the season or kind of event (like my flags for exchange student bbq) So today I tried Toba's glace for the first time, decorated fall leaves (running late so no pics). I never have any leftover cookies by the end of the evening, but today, I kid you not, those cookies were gone before dinner was served! Everyone LOVED my new icing. I saw some sneaking hiding them for later. I use my sister-in-law's sugar cookie recipe, and it's not too sweet, and I think that's the perfect combo.
I thought I might clear up, the RI I usually use on my cookies is NOT Antonio74 RI. I am going to try that next. I was using a recipe I got off internet long before I heard of (or became an adict of) Cake Central.
That's such a great compliment, isn't it?!?! You do a great job of decorating. too!
I love Toba's recipe but I've been wanting to try Antonia's -- it can't be bad if so many people have great things to say about it. I've just never had luck with covering a cookie with RI.
Honeydukes, it is a compliment. My secret is my cookie, my sister-in-law's recipe is amazing. and thank you for the compliment. I'm in awe of what you folks here on CC can do with a cookie, I try, but just not even close yet!
You know, I'm surpised I have it, I think I got it by accident. And now since I have it, she wants to know she's getting the credit, And it's much deserved!
Is there a Link to Toba's glace , I have been looking for it? TIA
