There are so many different golds! Super. old, aztec...
Which would be the best basic one?? I just want to buy one.

I bought the Super and it seemed to do the trick for
me. Check out my 2 tiered 50th Anniv cake and see what you think. Good luck with whatever you choose.

I don't have Aztec gold so I can't comment on that, but Super Gold is my favorite by far. I mostly paint with it, and it really looks nice with a lot of things.. My next favorite is Pale Gold, I've used that quite a bit too. Old gold to me looks like it has a little bit of green in it, and it's a little more dull than the Super Gold. I used it once, and never again. So if you're just going to get one, I would start with Super Gold.

i have super gold and love it. the ivory wedding cake in my photos used super gold that i just dry brushed on.
