Good afternoon cakers,

I need help determining if I can purchase a piece of silicone 36" x 24" from Home Depot or Lowe's; is ok to be used for rolling out fondant and gumpaste. If so, how thick should it be? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Unless you are only using it for decorative, non-edible items, it must be labeled 'food safe'. I doubt Lowes has anything like that.
