How thawed does a cake need to be before frosting it?

It is usually best for it to be completely thawed. If you ice it too soon, the icing has a tendancy to bubble away from the cake as it thaws.

I like to frost mine while they are frozen. If they didnt get any wrinkles or dents while freezing, If they did i let them thaw completly and they usually regain their shape. I sopose the bubbling up thing may have to do with what type of frosting you use. HTH thumbs_up.gif

Okay so ice while frozen. How long does it take the cake to not be frozen any more?
