I did look in the forum FAQ section and I am a bit computer illiterate, but is there a way that I can save forum topics that I have liked so I don't have to search for them all of the time???

I was looking for the new "favorite scratch recipes" post and can't find it again so I would just like to save these things when I find them.

Sorry for the non-cake dumb question. I do have to say that everyone seems to be helping each other out, which is a nice change of pace from where we live! I asked a "professional" here today if I could buy some gumpaste, because where we are you can't find it. He wouldn't let me icon_sad.gif so much for being helpful.

Thanks,
Amy

At the bottom under the "new topic" "post replu" and "print topic" buttons you'll see in small print a link that says "watch this topic for replies"

Click on "Add to Favorites" and the thread URL will be saved to your favorites.

Watching a topic for replies doesn't help if no one ever posts to that thread again.

Actually it does because then it will be listed on your "watched topics" list

I save to "watch for replies" all the time. Makes it totally easy to find again. I have stuff there from 6 months ago that I use a lot!

Or if you add any comment on any forum, you can click on the "My forum post" located on the homepage & you will see all the post you have done..

Thanks for correcting me. I had forgotten about the "Watched Topics" tab.

Newatdecorating - "Add to Favorites" is a feature of your browser, not CC.

Just right click on your mouse for the option to add to favorites. I'm not a computer genius believe me, my kids showed me this one icon_redface.gif
