Hi everyone! I have a question about tiering and serving size. I am making a cake for 30 people for a bridal shower and my friend wants 2 tiers, but from the serving charts that I read it looks like the pieces are expected to be small and I kind of like to do bigger pieces, so what size pans should I use for this cake?

Thanks so much for your help!

Always use the Wilton charts for serving size. These can be found on the Wilton website. Those charts will make the most money for you. There is a party serving size and a wedding serving chart. It will be plenty of cake. If the customer wants bigger slices, then the customer should buy additional cake. If you want to provide free cake, then that's up to you.

Oh, and a 6" + 9" will be enough.
