Hi, My name is Mommyle, and I'm a complete idiot. icon_redface.gificon_redface.gif
I over-filled 2 8" rounds, and there was smoke in my oven. I managed to get the burning over-flow out (at the risk of letting the cakes fall), but now I have a question. Will I have to re-do the cakes??? Will they taste like smoke??? icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif Help me please!!!

edit to add
My house now smells like a slightly burnt marshmellow. YUMMY!!! icon_razz.gif

I have done this a couple of times and it hasn't affected the taste of the cakes.............does make your house smell pretty bad for while tho icon_cry.gif
