I made a baseball hat for my husbands birthday and I covered the hat with fondant but made the peak from gumpaste and fondant mixed together. The peak looks dull from the cornstarch that I got on it when rolling. Is there anything i could do to shine it up a little so it looks like the fondant which didn't pick uo a lot of cornstarch.
Thanks

I did a graduation cap and rubbed crisco on all of it and it gave it a nice sheen. I wouldn't recommend eating it though.
