I have a customer that is interested in a dump truck for her son's birthday. I found a pic from a CCC member of a dump truck and it said it was from the Wilton Celebrate Fondant book. I found it and read the directions which calls for using 6 inch squares. This won't be enough cake, so I'm thinking I'd use 8 inch squares instead.

What would any of you charge for this cake? I have an idea, but would like different opinions.

Thanks in advance!
Gayle

I charge $4.00 a serving for my 3D cakes so if the cake will feed 20..I charge $80.00...If it is to feed more then charge accordingly...3D Cakes are a tremendous amount of time and work so I wouldn't do it for any less..Many CC members here even charge $7.00 a serving but that depends on where you live and the cake prices..I don't think I could get $7.00 a serving..my customers would think that is getting way too expensive!
